Services | Total Wealth Planner™
What Is a Total Wealth Planner?
A Total Wealth Planner is not someone who tells you what to do with your money — and certainly not someone who sells you financial products.
I don’t manage assets.
I don’t earn commissions.
I don’t create dependency.
I work alongside you as a life-first thinking partner, helping you structure your life and finances so decisions become clearer, calmer, and more your own.
This is not therapy.
It is not behavioural coaching.
And it is not traditional financial advice.
It is planning — properly sequenced, with you remaining the authority.
Life First. Money Second. Always.
Most financial services start with money and work backwards.
Total Wealth Planning starts with your life, your choices, and what is already present.
Using the GAME Plan™ framework, we work together to stabilise, structure, and surface options:
-
Clarify what matters now — not what used to
-
Visualise a realistic, meaningful future
-
Design a life-first plan aligned with your values
-
Build financial architecture to support that life
-
Simplify decisions by removing what no longer serves you
-
Equip you to act with independence and confidence
You leave with a plan you understand, own, and can adapt as life changes.
Done-By-You. Done-With-You. Never Done-For-You.
This is your life to lead.
I don’t take over decisions or make myself indispensable. My role is to provide structure, perspective, and professional judgement while you remain the decision-maker.
There are:
-
No recurring fees unless you choose them
-
No long-term contracts
-
No pressure to continue once clarity and confidence are restored
Many clients work with me through a transition — then return later when life changes again.
That is intentional. Good support should reduce dependency, not create it.

What My Clients Say
Very clearly explained support when I most needed it
March 2025 — Lisa Jackson
Lancing, England
"I was recently widowed when I came to Steve to help me sort out my finances. A previous financial advisor had wanted to charge me eye-watering fees that would have meant, at the end of my term with him, I may as well as given him the keys to my flat! Steve charged a much more reasonable fee to help me get my finances in order and was incredibly good at patiently explaining things to me (my bereavements meant I suffered from brain fog, so found it hard to grasp things). I was helped to understand how to keep my money protected by the FSCS and how low-cost, evidence-based investing could work in practice. Our regular meetings 'forced' me to take action and empowered me to make decisions about my financial planning. Steve is incredibly kind, supportive and knowledgeable and I really appreciated his help during one of the most stressful periods of my life. Highly recommended. Thank you Steve!"
Lisa came to AoLP recently widowed, cognitively stretched by grief, and having already been approached by an adviser whose fees would have materially reduced her long-term security. Her late husband had understood evidence-based investing — low cost, market returns, long term — and had built a sound strategy on that foundation. What Lisa needed wasn’t someone to replace that strategy. She needed someone to help her understand it well enough to make her own decisions with confidence. That's what happened. She left with clarity, capability, and ownership of a plan her husband had started and she could now continue with confidence.
